Hi everyone.I was looking through the Speed Technik site and found some RS6 with Hotchkis installed on it.I do not recall original parts like that underneath and therefore was wondering what exactly is the role of these bars.

Check it (http://www.speedtechnik.com/popup_inhousecars/inhouse_cars_Audi_RS6.html)

Why did they pick that color ? What's so wrong with plain black or some charcoal range color?

Good link Robert V !

Keep in mind that by taking away body roll/sway, you are now putting more pressure on other pieces of the car, such as the frame I believe. This extra stress can be bad too. As the link says, you really have to find a good balance.

Unless you really track the car, I usually find that upgrading the anti-sway bar is just money wasted. But that's just my opinion!

I know that in original set up there is a rear bar,but is there a front one?(Maybe a stupid question but I did not pay much attention to these sway bars). Are these any better than the original ones, because aftermarket parts are always there ti improve OEM ones, right?

Me likey:bow: .....Just got off the phone w/ Brian @ speedtechnik and he says the bars help remove much of the oversteer problem with the RS6...not all but much.

and I would agree with Nene in general...that you have to be really pushing the car to feel the difference. So they may not be for everyone.

I have Hotchkis anti-sway on my B6S4, and they do improve the ride / handeling significantly. On-ramps and off ramps are much more fun, and the basic over all feel is great. Thank God they are not aqua...

Body roll is reduced, and the car seems to react faster to steering wheel movement.

Fun mod

DGS4V8-

Sounds like you think it is worth the money. Thank you very much for the insight:cheers:

How much is it for both front and rear and how long is it to fit them?

And of course where to get them?

Does anyone know whether they have a dealer in Europe(UK)?
