These figures are very interesting but:

at this level the most important factor is which tyre each car has fitted

For instance, on a Porsche, the Michelin Cup is several seconds faster than the Pirelli Corsa on the Nordschleife.

Do you have any tyre information?

To the best of my knowledge:

GT3 - P Zero Rosso
GT3 RS - PZero Corsa System

Erik

Corsa on the GT3 RS and P Zero Rosso on the GT3 could account for most of the 7 second difference in lap times.

Are you sure about the Corsa on the RS, I would prefer to use Michelin Cup tyres.

No, I'm not until I've read the article. It's just "to the best of my knowledge."

Note that the Ferrari CS was on Pirelli P Zero Corsa System, not just Pirelli P Zero Corsa.
sport auto must have missed that, but there's a big difference.

The P Zero Corsa is not made in 19"...
http://www.pirellicompetizioni.com/en_41/products/catalogue_circuit.jhtml

And the Corsa System (which iti is supposed to be supplied with)
exists in two 19" dimensions: 225/35 & 285/35...

But sport auto says it ran on 295/35...

VERY STRANGE! :vhmmm:

Thanks for the tyre info, Erik. It will be interesting to see a new comparison test between the Michelin and Pirelli tyres. Last time the Michelin won.
For the 24 Hours at the Nordschleife, Michelin are only supplying their 'special' tyres to a few teams, I don't believe their 'customer' tyres are as good as Pirelli or Yokohama.
