So I did get off - Yes a major PITA !

A big Thanks to Bethridg and Bigglezworth for their tips!!

So now the reinstall.

So on trying to replace the orings on the fuel injectors, the bottom disc feature broke. Can this be replaced by itself ? New injectors are like $125 - $185 ea.18820

There's a bunch of compatible injector options, especially if you plan on getting the car tuned (or upgraded) in the future, don't spend that much on originals.

If you haven't already, the o-rings at the top of the injector (inserted into the fuel rail) can be replaced also. They are the same as the lowers.

What options on upgrades are there and cost? I do have a Stage 1 tune, but was not really wanting to replace them at this time.

One of the options is 550cc ones ($200 for a set of 4, not each):

Will also need wiring adapters (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Plug-Play-Injector-Adapter-ID-INJECTOR-USCAR-EV6-to-EV1-VAUXHALL-VW-SAAB-4-/122385343070) & a slight retune (can do that for you for free, provided you read & write the file by yourself).
These are good for like 750 crank hp, if you need that much in the future.

Link are just for the reference. Can likely find them even cheaper.

EDIT: these have correct spray pattern for our heads, are well-known and provide enough fueling for hybrid turbos, that's why I recommend them.
There are other options, but I like these ones.

ok this is going WAY back but V8weight (Pat) had a leaking O ring and finally isolated it to only one injector.
