Did read that this is supposed to improve performance/fuel economy ?
Any negative effects ?
Hod does the computer react, any Codes and how to erase ?
We just have everything apart, would be a good opportunity.
Thanks,
Ivan

No performance gains.
No economy gains (apart from few drops of fuel, literally).
Has to be reflashed to "accept" that.
Only makes sense if you're removing cats - then this system becomes useless.

Thanks Alex,
Probably keeps the Cats also cleaner,
as cold running is like the old fashioned 'Choke" enrichment via the ECU.
We just cleaned the Cats, so I will leave it in for now.

The idea behind the whole system is to basically "afterburn" all that extra fuel right in the cat (& therefore rapidly get it up to operating temp):

EDIT: Just to re-iterate and make it clear - SAI is active only during cold starts, that's why deleting it alone makes no sense. Only after (or, rather, together with) cats.

Thanks Alex,
So we have finally taken off the Intake manifold,
Mice were gone, but nest was there.
Damage to vacuum pump, will replace aux. water pump just in case.
Philosophical question; Thinking of removing auxil. rads.
Intercoolers have both oil in the hose. Looking at Wagners.
With stock ECU program would this be ok for now?

Yes, it'll be fine.
