Ok,
After review of many of the RS6 transmission repairs (Seems to be a lot) on the forum, my early build 4/03 vin 904023 w/ 73K miles has joined the list. Makes me sick.

So, any chance any of you have suggestions on getting the transmission/TC repaired in Massachusetts?

Cost wise, seems it could even run as much as the current value of the car? BTW, had the timing belt/water pump 75K maintenance done about 500 miles ago.

Thanks for any advice.

Cheers,

Mark

Ship the car to Tozo.

He is in and out for less than 6k

Also, Tozo can probably get it rebuilt in a weekend. he is great to work with and you will not be dis-appointed in the rebuilt trans.

Well, I guess that is an option, I did send an email to Tozo the same day I posted on Feb 2nd. I sent the email to tozoa8@yahoo.com, he has not responded. Is that email address correct?
Has anyone else shipped a car to him? I guess if I did ship it I could fly in to pick the car up when finished and then drive it home.
Wonder what shipping cost would be from Massachusetts to Chicago area?

Cheers,

Mark
