Looking to the forum for a price check on a 2003 RS6 Avant. This is an original car, not a conversion. Car has only 15k miles.

Replaced DRC, upgraded turbos and ECU, and a fresh manual trans conversion . New Koni's and Conti's.

Also has a built in cell phone and the Euro TV.

Not sure if that price is a bit tongue in cheek. Granted it has a US title but I was figuring a reality price would be $20K to $25K lower. Hard to know where the market lies since so few are out there. I guess you temper the cost to import and federalize against the price of a full content conversion of an S6 Avant.

I need to put an agreed value on the insurance and once Spring arrives there is a plan to swap it off for something vintage British.

The genuine article is always worth more.

I put my conversion RS6 Avant at 25ish

The genuine B5 RS4s have traded between 60-75k. There are 11 in the country. I have touched 5

40-50k would be reasonable if it has any signs of daily driving wear. IF it's truly perfect condition in and out, and with the super low miles, the 75k is about right, it's collector status.

15k miles, wow.

If it was still original with those miles then I would agree you could probably command crazy money. However being that it is modified and heavily at that with a manual conversion you may now find otherwise. If a collector were to buy it would be for its originality as everyone knows.

It's worth more with the 6speed. Imho

As the mileage shows it spends most of its life parked. I bought it with 12800 miles on it 4 years ago. It is super nice but far from collector grade, Q tip clean. I have noted before that short of the horsepower my S6 Avant is more fun to drive.

it could just take that one guy to walk along and write the blank cheque you dream of, it might just take a while. Also worth noting that although rare in the US there are thousands elsewhere around the world. Get your hands on a low mile plus edition STOCK, then sit back and enjoy an early retirement.
