Another electronic issue is my radio does not turn off when I turn the car of and get out. *I have a broken micro switch in the drivers side door (replaced it and it failed a month later Dam It) so I figured it was just that but, if I open any other door the dome light comes on but the stereo does not shut off. *I suspect it is related to the instrument cluster, but I am not sure. *Any ideas?

Can some one at least confirm the normal function?

Turn off car, does radio turn off immediately or only after you open a door?

Mine turns off with key, checked on both of my C5s.

Thank you very much!

I'll see what happens when I swap out the Instrument Cluster this week.

From wire diagram the stereo, the amps and the antenna controller all get positive power that is not switched. "Pin 30"

There is a connection to the instrument cluster at the data link connector, Can H and Can L (CAN Bus hi and lo) go to instrument cluster, there is an output to the control unit for central locking, and all the line out's to amps. So I cannot see any switched power for the stereo, so I think it is controlled via the Instrument Cluster.

The central locking thing is interesting I am not sure what that does. Lock you in if you play the wrong music?
