I wish they had left the nose a bit more square like the prototype designs below!!! All in all though, great machine!

Nene, I agree with the nose! Lets hope the Rs6 has a beefed up version!

The interior is err...well...questionable. The appointed interior designers probally had too many grolsch beers with some Volvo and Saab designers. :confused:

They should of just made a smaller version of the A8 interior with a flip up MMI screen from the centre fascia. :harass:

Think about this: the new A6 already has the 4,2 V8 powerplant available, what will the S6 have? Probably a turbo or supercharged V8.

But what will make the RS6 drive? Something BIG:revs: :D

Having driven an A8 this weekend, I can tell you that the new A6 interior borrows some components from the A8 ( climate controls, MMI ) but not the design.

The Interior on the A8 is really quite handsome and clean. They didn't make the display a central part of the interior like has been done with the 5/7 series cars.

I like the interior layout of the A8 better and do think the center consule looks a little too Saab and Volvo like. Other then that I like it...I think once I get in it and see it in person I will like it quite a bit more. The current A6 (now old I guess:vhmmm: ) I did not like untill I saw it in person, So I can only assume that I will have wait to make my final decision.

But for now... good job Audi....way to progress the look and not screw a brand up like some other German manufacture

Hm, I hadn't seen the interior as I wrote "Sweet" in that other thread.

Besides the buttons, it looks kinda like a Asian luxury car from the late 80's. :eye: Not my style at all. But the exterior is first class. And what are they gooing to leave to the S6 with THAT enginge line-up? :eek:

As I said before, my guess is a turbo or supercharged V8 for the S6.
But no telling what the RS6 will have, a V10?:bigeyes:

Snow, in the States, a 4.2L V8 has been available, although not the same version as the new A6 & S4. I'm not sure what the hp rating was on the prior 4.2L.

The new S6 gets a N/A V10 engine.
Fab5, Do you have that on good authority? Is it a version of the Gallardo's engine (believe me, I don't expect 500 horses in the S6)?

Looks good. Some details of the design lead me to think that Acura got the design sketch from Audi and created the TL.
