Is this right? 2004 RS6 with vin number 901348 for sale in Copart . Anything special about this car? https://www.copart.com/lot/51347307

Why? Seems so, current bid only $2,500, estimated would be not wrecked so that's a bit off.

My guess is it's a CAN car. VIN matches up with the few I have from there. I seem to remember reading all Canadian cars were MY 2004. But I could be misremembering.

If it was one of the 90 sold in Canada, it has since had the cluster swapped out.... There are other ways to ascertain, but unfortunately it necessitates some disassembly (i.e. crash test requirements which mean different bumpers behind the skins). There are also some other visual identifiers with the interior if I recall correctly.

IIRC when I ran the original VIN list before Dave that VIN, or one very close to it, is one of the first several RS6 that came to the US as AOA executive cars in late 2002 or early 2003.

That one certainly looks beaten upon...

No clue, but the VIN is part of the early pre-launch to NA.
The range for NA was 904*** to 905***.

04 rs6 technically not legal in us and impossible to make legal. Yes, I said impossible

so the Canada cars can't come down here but a couple have
