My HVAC fan isn't operating. The fuse is good. A search on here brought up a post that said the resistor might be bad. But searching Blower Resistor brings up nothing other than the post that said it might be bad.

So anyway, Is this a real thing? If so, where can I find the resistor and how can I replace it?

Thanks in advance for your help! :addict:

Blower is easy to change, did mine about 4 years ago.....but was about $400 for Made in China noisy thing....no idea where the resistor is if it is not attached to the blower?

There is a funny looking electrical piece with a bunch of aluminum prong things that will make fan stop and do go bad something like "Blower Motor Regulator Resistor A/C Fan Control Unit". Its under glove box. Mine went bad and I found Asian one on ebay, and it went bad quick and then I bought used OEM one on ebay and been ok. I think the OEM part is made by Hella. Audi part # 4BO 820 521
