2003 S8 Avus w/black and red leather interior. I believe less than 50 in the states. 1 owner Not modified and it drives like it supposed to.

Just bought the factory 20" ten spokes. 20x9s

Love the D2 S8. In fact, that's what I was shopping for before before I ended up with my RS6. I just couldn't find one in nice enough condition.

I was not even looking and stumbled across it while looking for a 13 S8.

Let the guy list it for a bit and no takers. Then he made me a deal on the car. Good thing he didn't list it on Autotrader.

The paint is all original and pristine. Not one acid rain spot or bird dropping

I know I know! Stupid Photobucket got me good. I have to find another free hosting site.

I have the car out in my shop doing my cleaning and general inspection. One owner traded to Audi Scottsdale and they let it go to a local dealer. He had no idea what it was and listed it locally in Craigslist and his website. Had it been listed on Autotrader it would have been gone in a instant. As it turned out he was a cool guy and I let him try to retail it for a couple of weeks before he gave me a wholesale number. I would have paid double the number he gave me! Doh

I had no idea how well these things handled or performed.

wait till you see the wheels I have coming for the car. Oem 20x9 forged 9 spokes and 255/35/20s. As luck would have it a guy had a set listed on eBay in like new condition. These are getting about impossible to find as well.

Thats awsome man, ive never seen a D2 S8 in Avus. Most in my area are sliver, black or pearl. Does it have the sport recaro seats as well?

I have been told it's the only way you could get Avus in 03. You had to have the oxblood red/black w/sport Recaros. Oh those seats! are friggin awesome

Avus is 03 only and could be less than 50 in total. So in the garage will sit the Avus S8 next to my Avus RS6. Oh my

Good find and lucky guy! I have been looking for an S8 but difficult to find he right one. Only 6 listed on Autotrader and the lowest mileage one is 70k .. the guy was asking $15.5k. It is a 2001.

The D2 S8 gearing combined with the higher rev limit on the S8 4.2 make it quite nimble. This is night and day difference to the S6 Avant which I hated and sold. I don't miss the RS6 when driving the S8.

Seats. Lol they are soft and keep you planted at the same time. 100% better than US RS6 seats and 50% better than euro spec RS6 seats. I wish I could put S8 seats in all my RS6s. I have the euro RS6 seats in one of my cars but these S8 are better by a ton.
