Hi......Can the trans fluid level be checked hot, RS6 (as in 170ish) ? I understand the correct fill procedure so that's a given. Be safe over the holidays.

Why trying to check when so hot? Hope you have RT software...

To follow up, you shouldn't check when it's the incorrect temperature for checking, you will get an incorrect result. :idea:
Checking the "level" basically means following the fill directions and fill until it overflows, done!
On the 3-4 trans changes, fluid changes, we've usually been able to put about another half quart or so in the week after the first fill attempt. :cheers:
