Well I've finally got my 19" Sportec wheels fitted, and IMHO the car looks great :0:

RS6 with Sportecs Pics (http://www.pbase.com/algape.rs6)

However, the day before I collected them (thanks again Damian if you read this) I hit the pothole also at the above link and wrecked two of the standard wheels
:bang:

I couldn't avoid it, traffic coming the other way and as you can see this monster covered half of my side of the road!

And I was only doing 50-60mph, had the parents on board :nono:

Now there is no way I can blame the quality/strength of the wheel, but what I will rant about is the state of our roads :w:

This was NOT a country back-route, it's an "A" road that is a very busy cut through from the M11 to the A1M

http://www.pbase.com/algape/rs6 for all pics.

LOL! Although I'm sorry to hear about the damage, you even got a picture of the pothole.
Maybe we should have a top ten worst potholes list :brag:

Sorry about the damage to the standard wheels, but those sportecs sure do look stunning on your Avant!

2046,

Apparently, the Canadian RS6's will have an additional strip on the front bumper to meet the crash regulations. I hope it's not too ugly!.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I think they look the dog's!

Erik,
the picture of the pothole is so that I can claim for the cost of the wheels (the tyres were wrecked too) from the local autority responsible for that stretch of road :hahahehe:

2046,
nope, the 340R was sold last month to a lucky owner in Paris!
My track car is now the Ultima :wo:

Alan, I know exactly how that feels, see:

Everything ended up OK, except for a large hole in my wallet!
