Looking to replace the in line pump. What should I go with and where should I get it from?

Plenty of people have swapped in a Bosch 044, many threads on it. Got one ready to go myself. Pump leaking, symptoms?

Started making a faint humming noise after I shut the car off. Now, every 12 or so starts, the engine fires, but then dies as if it's lacking fuel

044 is a good bolt-on mod. Will support around 650hp if you plan on upgrading in the future.
It's a bit noisy, though.

A better alternative is AEM 380.

Nub, is there anything specific that makes the aem better? Is it quieter? I see it's a bit less expensive...

Quieter, more flow. Can't comment about long-term reliability, but so far it had worked fine for me.

No, why? :)
Both 044 and AEM 380 are a replacement for the inline (under-the-car) pump, not the in-tank one.

Ok, sorry I was thinking about the in-tank pump.
