I have had the above RS6 listed for about a month now on Autotrader and the local craigslist. What is the boards gut thoughts on the value of a car with the miles and history of my car. Am I asking to much for the car?

That seems like a reasonable price for that particular car given its low mileage, full maintenance history and only 2 owners. Now it just needs the right buyer. From what I've seen that can take a few months.

The market is flooded with RS6's right now. You are at the higher end of the price range with comparable examples. I think it's a reasonable starting point but you should probably expect closer to $20k after negotiations. Problem is it's such a niche market. Not many people are specifically looking for a C5 RS6 like they would be your E39 M5, for example. Large portion of your interested parties will just stumble upon your ad because it falls into the price range they are looking for. Ask someone like Other_Erik how difficult it is to sell one of these. Your best bet is exposure. List it absolutely everywhere. If it needs to go asap, you're going to have to consider taking a substantial hit.


Also, heads up, your autotrader ad lists it as a 6 cylinder.

I would second what has been said above. To add to it, the pictures are horrible:) Need higher res good quality photos. Looks to be riding high in the back from DRC replace, maybe just aesthetic. You could remove some of those maintenance items on the front page, let's someone know how much work has to be done on these...very nice and clean, just need perfect buyer.

My new excuse for never selling mine...nobody wants to buy them!
