I had to try.....bolt pattern and size are fine, but the hub on the M2 is about 1 cm larger than the RS6.
DAM! would have been nice.

I think you are wrong bolt pattern on BMW is normaly 5*120 and VAG'S mostly 5*112

Hub adapters are commonly used to mount wheels with larger diameter hubs on older models of cars. I have 66.6mm wheels mounted on my car which is a 57mm hub. As for the model difference as noted in previous post, the bolt pattern is different between the two...

I know, this was more of a Joke....LOL...
I was reading conflicting information on the bolt pattern, apparently in the 90's and early 2000's they were compatible. But along the way they changed.
