Nope. Not wrapped. One better.....

Clean, but dimure. I would say spray roof also, maybe gunmetal gray wheels. But still, top notch work again, thanks for sharing.

That primer looks nice but when does the paint get put on??? :lovl:

J/k Looks great! The C5 wears that color very nicely. Agree with blacking out the trim, that would look badass.

Hat tip for the "Nerd Gray" title...

Yeah I'm hoping one of the mods will see this and adjust the thread to "Nardo Grey". Spell check got the best of me there..

Fixed it. :-) / Ruergard

Love it. I noticed on your site you have set colors available. How does one get a custom color like you used, or better yet, I wanna do susuka grey.

I'm just a little confused. I'm 99% assuming this was DYC material, but the pictures are all watermarked with Flexcoat Coatings. Was this DYC or FC?

Also like the Nerd Grey title, thinking the comment above should be fedora tip rather than hat tip :)

Either way, I found an authorized retailer/installer here in the DC area, based out of Maryland. Love some of the work they do with Dupicolor Chameleon dips and oiled brass finishes - not for me, but looks pretty hot on the vehicles they have in their "our work" gallery. Most recent was a GT-R done up in Chameleon (Purple/Red/Blue/Green/Gold), not that I'd do it to the beast, but would definitely turn heads at Katie's Cars & Coffee...

Fonz

With the number of times you've dipped the car, how many labor hours does it take? Got all your templates in order, I assume.

Like the Nardo Grey, can't wait to see what's next :)

Looks great. I have a repaint question.

When it is done, do they remove all the silver trim and reapply? How long do you have to let the paint dry before the door trim (top edge) can be put back on?

Mike

(repaint is my next project as the doors are rotting out, just paint I hope.)

I don't want to discuss the process too much. I'm not a vendor here and only trying to show the results with my fellow RS6ers.. I want to respect the forum. Hope that's ok

Beautiful. With blacked out trim, gunmetal wheels, and blacked out headlights it wouldn't look out of place compared to a new RS model on the showroom floor.

I'm glad I stumbled on this. This is the color I've had in my mind for doing a respirator some day. Looks great! I do agree that the black trim would work great, especially with the black wheels

Fonzie, I own a Avus Silver RS6 and have been trying to find a nice aftermarket hood like the one you have so I'm just wondering what kind it is and where you purchased it? I would really appreciate your help. Thanks Fonzie

Looks like just a cut stocker?
I have a similar (but not as subtle & nice looking) mod.

Nice job on the Nardo. Excellent choice. Here's my fully converted Nardo contribution. Wheels go for gunmetal powder coating shortly.
