Help pick my new color..

Going to be spraying the RS6 in a new color in a week or so, was wondering if you guys had any input on what you'd like to see. Leaning towards something that wasn't offered from the factory originally.

Any suggestions?

i suggest to do a cobalt metallic blue. i had it on my 05 allroad and it was turning heads everywhere i went. its an amazing color in the sun. id post a pic on here if itd let me.

Need to decide on color, and then decide if we should go matte or gloss. The RS6 does pull off matte colors nicely.

Chrome or polished lip and some spacers on those wheels would make it look 10 times better. Or different wheels altogether.

suzuka gray is my first personal color choice just because its so rare. Nardo gray is nice as well. plus merlin purple is another exclusive color as well.

I'm hopping on the black cherry, deep maroon bandwagon. The few times I've seen this paint from Audi have been great. It should go very well with the black matte wheels and trim you have. Cheers!

Yup. Misano Red was a factory option
Black Cherry Pearl was an Audi Exclusive option and is the "Dark Cherry Metallic" type of color I posted.
There was even a Papaya Orange ordered through Audi Exclusive!


Spraying today I think. Should be interesting..

PS I found out the hard way that using a pressure washer to take mud off my jeep also took off my 3-layer Plasti-Dip spray job covering the Chrome bits. :(

You should have way more than 3 layers when you dip something. 8 would be minimum for long term durability.

Any more than 3 layers on my grill and it wouldn't fit back into place - as it was, I was worried about scuff-peeling the sides against the fenders, and I used light coats on that. The rock rails I was looking for an excuse to go bigger/better anyway, so the wife is probably going to okay the $600 or so to get LoD rails with integrated steps :) Now I just have to find some poor sucker // I mean... discerning Jeep owner... to buy the stock chrome Mopar rails off me.

I see you're still keeping the new color a secret, you sly devil you.
