View Full Version : Any tricks for replacing the boost hoses off the turbos?

I spent an hour or so replacing the 4 hoses to the intercoolers which helped quite a bit but have yet to do the ones off the turbos. I took a look and said screw it and went home for the night. lol
Any advice to making those not such a nightmare? I dont see any way to get my hand in there and grip the hose to pull them off much less getting the new ones on.

Undo 2 hex bolts on each side holding boost hard lines, take them out together with hoses. Put new hoses on the hard lines, put the whole assembly in, tighten clamps.
Not 100% sure this works on driver's side (it should), but passenger side is absolutely a piece of cake this way.

Ha! Holy hell that made everything simple! And to think with how I was struggling with those lower hoses last night. lol Had I just removed those bolts it would have been SO much simpler. Thank you sir.
