I have a complete Alcon Stasis brake kit that I want to trade straight up for a stock 2002-2004 RS6 front brake kit. Dont care if the pads are shot/missing but good rotors is a plus. Nice calipers is a must.
My Alcons have been on the car for 14k miles and the pads have been on for 4000 miles and are the Hawk pads just not sure what compound. Calipers are blemish free and the rotors are in good shape with no glazing or cracks or warpage. I really need to take a picture of the cleaned hats as they look much better than the dirty pictures i have but at least you see them at their dirtiest. They are cleaner now.
These are 15 lbs lighter than stock brakes and offer better cooling. I dont track the car and just prefer the looks of the stock brakes. These Alcons are $5000 new!
This is the two piece rotor kit with the Mono 6 calipers.

I am also willing to just sell them as long as I can find a replacement OEM set. I would let them go for a couple grand. Thats 60% off.

My research skills don't seem to be up to snuff...

There is no discontinue of the line and the rotors just dropped in price. The pads are even cheaper now. I have spoken directly with them several times. Everything is still available and will be for a long time.

I will also take $2200 for them as long as someone I know is willing to sell his extra calipers.

LaserSVT,

I am very interested in these, are they still for sale?

Gosh that's tempting, though I'd have to measure my front rotor thickness to tell if they're in decent shape.
