I bought this car 5 1/2 years ago with 52K miles, after having looked for a 6-spd manual for two years. The intent was to go stage three, so after 1 year I started looking at packages. I had the timing belt changed at 67K (normally 105k) in anticipation, and then stumbled onto my RS6. I then decided to keep the A6 as a DD, and donor car if the RS tranny went bad. Now four years later, I've decided it is time to let her go. Not because I want to, and not because I have to, I just don't need it anymore. I've picked up a 2013 GTI that assumes DD and airport duty, and just can't justify having 3 cars that don't get driven much.

The pics pretty much tell the story. Body is mostly very good - the front bumper does need a re-spray, and there is some staining on the trunk lid from being parked under a leaky, rusty sprinkler head in the parking garage at the Cleveland airport. It was worse when I found it, used a clay bar to clean most of it up. Those famous words "it should buff out." There is also a mark in the center of the rear bumper that was present when I bought the car. Headlights have been re-finished twice, will do it again next weekend so they're clean. I also bought caliper paint and will spray them next weekend, if the weather is good enough. Brakes are ECS drilled/slotted rotors. I didn't drive it enough before the pics to clean the oxidation off.

Interior is very good to excellent. I will remove the aftermarket Sirius module before selling, or it can stay with the car, your choice. I had routed it through the dash to the passenger door, and usually had the receiver outside on the A-pillar. Driver's seat shows just how (unfortunately) wide my hips are, or I can blame that on the previous owner. Will include the all-weather mats.

Clean CARFAX and title in hand.

Couple of things to mention...

Currently shows the (O) - brake wear and headlight leveling alerts on the LCD (which is fading). The pads only have about 8,000 miles on them, not sure why the alarm is showing. I did replace the front leveling sensor recently, but have not scanned it yet to clear that one.

I wanted to replace the valve cover gaskets, but after removing the driver's side, my chain tensioner tool snapped. I replaced the cover with a new gasket and ordered a replacement. You will receive the full gasket set plus two tensioners as well.

Sale also includes a set of AT Italia wheels with Blizzaks that have been used for four winters, still some good life left.

Thanks for looking.

Pics, part III. And I just realized that I have not taken any of the engine compartment. Will update next weekend if not sold, already too dark now.
