P0441 Code

I've had the CEL come on and read the code to be 16825-P0441-002 EVAP EMIS. I replaced the purge valve (with a Bosch unit from ECS Tuning - did not buy the OEM Audi part), all has been good for a while but recently the CEL came back on on the same code appeared. I'm wondering if the valve has gone bad again or something else (ie gas cap ??). Any other things to check ?

Maybe a leaking vacuum hose. Need a smoke machine to find it.

Have you changed the OEM rubber hoses for silicone hoses?

Make sure the tiny screen on the N80 input side isn't clogged with carbon dust. Next squirt some WD40 inside the valve and clean it out since it seems to become stuck fairly easily. There was a recent thread on AZ about a couple guys that put an inline filter before the N80 and that seemed to prevent it from getting clogged/stuck. If that doesn't work your charcoal canister might be toast.
