To be honest I think this guy is a dumbass and has wrong specifications. He would beat on the car and not care. This isn't how you should take care of an rs6. Just wanted to put it out there!

Soooo you now own the car that's in that YouTube video? I actually like the FMIC if it works properly, the intake looks decent too. Idk about the race tranny or Kkk turbos.

It does have a race tranny I put it in the lift before the turbos i think are still original

I would love to but this car makes one of a kind since they only made 99 of my color I bet this is the only one out there. And it does better

No...such...thing. Rebuilt trans sure, c'mon man. There's only so much you can upgrade on this trans, and nothing makes it "race".

It literally says racing transmission on. Next time I lift it I'll show you a picture of. Idk if it really is but know that's it's rebuilt

And, did I miss something, is that not avus sliver? Only 99 of that color you say?

What do I get for being in this exclusive club?

At least the car has been consistent with it's ownership.

Only 10 points for that video? Watch the one with the FMIC with LEDs all around it. That one makes you lose at least 25

even tho I kind of like the FMIC if it'd fit without jacking up the bumper and grills

We know that's how you got it, but you STILL made the decision to buy it.

Racing trans? So, I don't like to be that guy that thinks us forum guys know everything, but unless that transmission is from the Champion Audi team, its total bull shit.

Also, please provide attribution to your research on the 99 claim. I have one in the same color combo, and it seems like the most common set up I've seen.

spoolinrs6
September 11th, 2015, 04:11

Well no offense, but 291 is a lot more believe able over 99, especially when there were roughly only 1200 sold in the us. Which means, avus sliver was roughly 1/4 of the total sold. Avus, black, and mugello all seem to be the most common colors.

Not knocking it, I actually love avus sliver. If I get to buy another rs, I'd like it in avus. But I might need my head checked first, for wanting another RS6...lol

You can actually see the difference. Plus I have custom interior in my car. If I can just upload photos on here I'd show you guys smh

Trust me, I'm well aware that avus is different then brilliant sliver, bright sliver, platinum gray, or Daytona gray. Avus sliver was only offered in the RS cars, or just the RS4, RS6, and the 25th anniversary S4.

If I was a betting man, I'd put my money on most common colors being; Avus, Ebony & Mugello - in that order. Lesser common colors being Daytona, Misano, and Greenwood - in that order. Unicorn (special order) being Yellow & White. This is a color chart with Audi paint codes and I found it interesting to see another type of Red and a couple other shades of Silver/Platium which without pulling up the paint code on your chassis might readily be mistaken for Avus or Misano by many an Owner.

291 for Avus/silver or all Avus?

Ya there have been a few special order avus as well, but I was talking about dealer offered colors. Even the new rs7 and rs5 aren't offered in avus, unless special order.

Really? I feel like Daytona is the most common color; that seems to be all I see, followed by Mugello and Avus. I've actually seen a yellow RS6 in person before, before I knew much about them:

All stock engine wise except intake exhaust and some other minor things. Its a show car so all rolled fenders roof Porsche silver paint keskin rims only 1 in the US that size rs6 bumper kinda

From 1 of 1 show car to 1 of 99 race car.

Black and silver in these parts for sure, then a few blue ones. that yellow is gross, totally goes against the understated design of the car.
