I have a set I can sell if you need them. That's pretty scary though.

Did it damage the wheel? How did it create a hole where the wheel rotor and hub mate? Is there other damage?

BINGO!
you get a prize bethridg.

Took kids to the range today, few of the marks (no holes) are from them and their 22 and the holes from a 308 at 100 yards.

LOL

Nice Mike, I was gonna say - did you have a road-rage incident with some hothead wielding a hand cannon who got mad he couldn't keep up with the beast? :)

308 is a nice hunting round, no surprise it left holes at 100 yds. What kinda optics are you using? Have been considering putting something better than iron sights on my 30/30

I have a Nikon Prostaff 3.5 -14 x 50 BDC. I was going back and forth between many brands and types, and was considering some high end models. I just went with what they had in stock at Gander Mountain, and probably saved a fortune! LOL. I bought a baby brother Nikon for the Kid's 22.

You can literally go BLIND looking at all the options and brands LOL.

For occasional use I think the Nikons are perfect, great optics for the money.

If I was a hunter, perhaps I would have gotten something more pricey? I don't know.

At the least I wanted something with Parallax correction and after learning about the BDC type reticles I decided I like those.
