Any RS6 specific jack pads that you suggest?

Or should I go hockey puck style? I hade jacking on the pick welds because it's too close to the rocker covers and it doesn't seem like a regular jack fits those well.

I'm back to the same quandary - how the hell do I get a 12" tall jack stand under the car into the pinch weld area when I have to jack up the car 8+ inches above ride height to fit the stand under? I'm considering sinking ~$400 into a low-profile rolling jack that I can push to the midline, but then where do I jack the rear? Certainly don't want to try supporting 2000+ lbs from the rear differential!

Looking at the price of a good jack and some nicer jackstands like the ones you linked, it's almost (ALMOST!) cheaper to just bite the bullet and sink a hydraulic 4-post lift into my garage floor, but then I'll need to raise the ceiling and lose the garage attic (no big loss to me), and forget about being able to work on the car with the garage door open.

Wonder if I can retrofit sinking a service bay underneath my garage, maybe? :\

None of these options are giving me a warm fuzzy feeling down in the cockles of my heart, if you know what I mean.

Yes. The ECS ones don't fit our cars. The others don't seem high enough to get under.

Yep

I still use 2 jacks to this date. However, i also lift from the rear carrier just to get jacks on the rear pinch welds.

I use a standard aluminum floor jack with a simple wood shim that stradles the frame weld and it lifts high enough to get the car on jack stands in one lift/each side. I also block the car at the point directly adjacent to the main frame connection.
