Been noticing a string of recent failures. Can someone post up some details of the failure point? Pics

What are these going for?

I'll let you know the details as soon as I have mine repaired.

I've priced OEM through my dealer, as well as through ECS Tuning (http://www.ecstuning.com/ES371824/).

With my discount at the Audi dealer, and the poor state of the Canadian dollar & shipping from USA, it works out to be about the same price.

I had hope that this one was right: http://www.partstrain.com/store/details/Audi/RS6/Nissens/Radiator/2003/Base/8_Cyl_4-dot-2L/W0133-1736325.html
but as luck would have it It's for the A6. The RS6 radiator used in the US and in the hot weather optioned cars in the rest of the world is exclusive. It has a third outlet that's on the side of the trans cooler fittings (driver's side). The third outlet goes to a solenoid that feeds the coolant afterrun pump.

Rash of leaking radiators?

I must have missed something.

Any details on what's going on?

US spec radiators are near the top on the flagship tax list. That and the oil/trans fluid cooler...

My right side tank was leaking.

Dealer wanted $1250 (discounted) for an OEM rad. + approx $800 in labour.

I took it to the local rad shop and they tested, re-crimped the tank to the rad, and got it back to me next day for $160 taxes in. They even delivered it back to my mechanic.
