Hey all. I have spoken to a company in England that is willing to make rs6 logo Floor mats for the c5. They currently make them for RHD models, but not LHD. He said if I sent him templates, he'd make them, and said he'd be willing to give a better price for a quantity of 20 or more. Below is a pic,

Ok guys. Below is a pic of my own winter mats. Drivers side is a bit dirty, sorry. Crank your head left 90°

I want to use these as a template. They are the Audi winter mats. Fit is perfect. Besides the obvious, the shape of the mats are slightly different. The carpet mats have the transmission hump in them. I'm afraid that if I have them made using the carpet dimensions, the hump won't fit well. With the rubber, winter mats, that is a non issue as the trans hump (not that one Dave) is not in play.

Just wanted to clear that up. Everyone ok with this shape on mat?

X2 what Lswing said. I run the winter rubber setup year round - really nice touch on the beast. Today I'm in luck b/c it's snowing here so I'll get to use the mats & beast for their intended purpose :snow:

They aren't the same size as the carpeted mats, however. There's quite a bit of surface area that the carpeted mats cover, which the rubber ones do not.

I don't think we get to pick and choose piping color or the like. It's one large batch of 20+ that will be the same I would believe. Maybe clarify that you would be in or out depending on the exact color scheme that you are interested in:) I think these will be pretty damn awesome either way, thanks for the effort!:addict:

Yes, these things are always tough to bring together, lots of footwork to be done. Options are great, but I think just getting a well made logo'd mat will be above and beyond what we can normally find.

I'm sure it's too late, but that silver edge piping looks larger that in the preview mats, if it was half that size it would look much better. Guessing that black is not an option at this point.

I suppose it will look great with the white leather interiors. Looks super clean either way!

Some general feedback. Looks good all in all, but piping visually appears out of proportion in comparison to OEM style carpets IMO. Can it be done smaller? Perhaps it's because of the stark color difference. Certain to be a number of users with ebony interiors that would desire black piping instead if that is an option. At a minimum, there shouldn't a bright color around the foot pad on the drivers side mats as you want the matt to disappear in with the body of the carpet.

Well I ended up here by a friend linking them as otherwise don't float around the forum these days...but I can give 2 cents...these are very nice and last very well (better than OEM) I have had these made for my RS5 and they still look great after 2 years, also had a set in my previous S5. They also make a trunk liner that is nice as well. The piping is a little wide but installed in the car its not as bad since you don't see most of it as directly (sure it would be better thinner though like the real OEM mats (which I had/have still that are honestly terrible in terms of the wear on the carpet on them for the $$$$). The leather is a very good match in color though on these but better with the newer 'silver' in the current RS cars. I think personally it is the heel pad and its border that make it so noticeable. In my RS5 set I went with the perforated metal plate they have which may be a good idea for these also that ties in to all the stainless in the foot well (if you switched out your foot rest already to the 'plus' version) with the pedals. Main reason is wear on the carpet pad but I seems bulky to me plus I would rather have my heal slide around a little more easily especially for getting in and out without snagging on it.

Now that folks is a GREAT price.

They make the trunk liners for most Audi models, but don't remember if they have a shape for going around the battery or not for the RS6. I assume its in the same place in the UK cars that they made a version but haven't looked at their website. Anyway these are worth it period.

Ok all. Two things,

1) I've had a coupe inquiries of how the pay, ship, ect. You will pay me through PayPal, and I will pay the company. Not yet though. I think the "gift" format may be best, however it doesn't give "buyers protection". This would keep costs down as well. I'm really not sure that buyers protection matters in this deal anyway. Send me opinions on this through PM. Shipping will be direct from the manufacturer to the address you give me.

2) They are shipping me the set you saw in the picture, to ensure the fitment is correct. He mentioned that I should see them in about 6 days. Please be patient. He also said that the border looks a lot lighter in the picture than in person.

Careful and read my thread about the mats. I forgot to post results, but I had custom ones made here in Germany and they turned to shit. Our stock mats are molded and something else. I can't really remember, but if you look around, then you can find more about it. If it's legit, I'll buy a set.
I remember that thread. It's part of the reason I'm having the first set shipped to me for fitment. Also why I wanted to use the winter mats as a template.

I've got a set of the RHD ones from the seller. They're pretty good - probably a 7-7.5 / 10. They're not molded, but do fold to shape pretty well and bed down after a couple of days. They fit the floor studs well, and the RS6 logo looks great. They look smart and while they may not last forever - they're cheap enough that I don't mind replacing them every so often. FWIW, I got black mats with black edges. Previously had a gold colour edge - think the black edge looks a lot better in the car.

If you look at the picture of the girl in the Saint Patrick's Day dress, it has the silver/white trim.

You can log into Paypal, and pay via the friends and family method. That way, you won't be assessed an additional fee. If you'd like to pay through another method on Paypal, you will need to pay an additional fee. I think it's about 3%

Here's what he posted before, it's fairly easy. Once you have your PayPal account setup and linked to either a bank account or credit card, just gift Kyle the money. There's a comment box for your shipping info and mat color.

Paypal is really easy to use and it will "walk" you through the process. Once you click send money, it will give you the option to send 'Friends & Family'. It will ask for the e-mail address to send to, which was provided above. There is a section for "Notes" or "Description", and here you simply enter your information:

phone number

The process is about 3-4 windows total, where in each you enter the information.

Yes, it's erratic. Guessing it has to do with the amount of spam/bot traffic the host emailer is dealing with. They tend to just be delayed, but sometimes nothing.

Yeah, I saw the impending cut off two weeks ago, but didn't know if I'd be buying the RS6 or not. I ended up buying it last week.

Anyhow, I'd rather the mats with the grey piping, but I'll see if I can resist impulse purchasing while I'm trying to source a radiator and tie rod ends for this beast.

I own the car, but it sits at my mechanic until I have some issue sorted. :-/

Got my UPS delivery notice in the mail box this afternoon. Typical UPS crap with hidden third party fees that amount for 40% the cost of the item... I recommend putting Scotchgard water-repellant on light embroidery if you want to keep them looking fresh. Might be a "no sh-t" comment. lol

This product is even better, it is what is used on high-end Sunbrella boat canvas material http://www.goldeagle.com/product/303-marine-recreation-fabric-guard really good product. Same co. that makes Sta-bil fuel additives strangely enuf.

My mats are in batch 2. I can wait, rd.s have been nothing but a sloppy salty mess around my way for weeks, more coming. I know its a Quattro beast but I don't expose my RS6 to that mess. It has to much low production # stature and more importantly seniority (read = decade + old) to be abused like that anymore.

They are super nice mats, and I assume fitment will be good. If I didn't have some almost perfect factory winter mats I would have lived with these.

Edit, just to be clear, $120 total with shipping as these were $100 originally, hoping UPS doesn't kill me with shipping, but it's not a box, just big plastic bag, size of the mats.
