I have been interested in the RS6 for years but finally got around to shopping for one. In the past have owned several Audis like a 1st Gen TT 225 Roadster in Nimbus Grey with baseball glove leather and an 01.5 B5 S4 which was stage 2+. I have also owned a 996 Porsche C4 and a host of other BMW M cars and VWs. Currently I have a B7 RS4, a 99 BMW E36 M3, and a 91 BMW E30 318IC so the RS6 will make a nice addition.

The RS6 I found is a true 1 owner car with 82k on the clock, completely stock, and is a FL car.
VIN WUAPV64B73N904372
The owner is a 64 year old man who is downsizing so his loss is my gain! While it needs a couple of cosmetic things, mechanically it is perfect with all major service recently completed at an Audi dealer. All service history is documented and it was always performed at Audi. We even called the service department of the dealer when we met so I could talk with them about the history of the car.

When I drove the car the owner showed me all his paperwork. He has marketing materials from Audi as he pre-ordered the car in 2002 and was 1 of 2 owners at his local dealership locked in for the RS6. He had the window sticker but also the original deposit write up for the pre-order showing total cost at $91K.

Paint color is Daytona Gray Pearl with Platinum interior sporting Carbon Fiber trim.I am looking forward to getting into this car a can already say I have learned a lot from the info found on this board.
Pictures to come soon!

Sounds like an excellent example, cheers! I'm going to assume the torque converter was changed out at around 30-40k miles? Most of these earlier/mid VIN cars had an issue with a TC seal that would fail, not allowing the TC to lockup, and therefore overheating and frothing the trans fluid to the point of allowing the trans to get damaged. If not, I'd assume the owner didn't drive the piss out of the car, and since it's not tuned, it's holding together well. The extra power from a tune, along with aggressive driving, can really to a number on the drivetrain sometimes. Sounds like great car though, amazing how well these hold up for now going on 11 years!

Thanks, I am really looking forward to owning this car. There is no tune currently and for the next year I doubt I will add it. I plan to go through the car and ensure things are solid inside and out before I start modding. I work from home or travel so none of my cars are used for commuting therefore mileage will always be low.

Here are a few pictures from the current owner. I will be taking my own shortly after I pick up the car tomorrow evening.

Looks like a great RS6. Same setup as the one I ordered, and still own. Many happy driving moments in your future.
