the time has come to service my gearbox. As some of you may know, the car is now at 148k miles and this current gearbox was replaced by Audi at 60k miles and she has never seen an oil change so far, so i guess it would be time.

I've got all the parts except oil which i am still debating between what i can find in my area and these would be:

- OEM G052162A2 which is $20/quart
- Vaico ATF Longlife oil which meets the above specs and is cca $6/quart
- Febi as well meets the OEM specs for cca $6/quart

I am kind of leaning towards the OEM oil, though on my other RS6 have used Liqui Moly ATF1200 and it was all good.

Has anyone here tried the Vaico or Febi oil? Or for that matter what other oil brands are you using for the gearbox?

Another vote for BND. Engine and trans fluid goin in next weekend. Have had good results with ZF Lifeguard fluid in an older BMW.

i would've used the ZF one but i can't find it around here, probably the demand for ZF Lifeguard 5 is too low and they don't bring it anymore...

which is exactly is the BND one?

This one is for the 5HP specifically...

For the BND you would have to contact them directly to order it. My order took about 2 weeks. I think there is a lab analysis on here somewhere of the BND product.
