Hey guys,

Tried doing a search but didn't come up with much; has anyone looked into or done this before: retrofitting B6/B7 S4 Recaro seats into the RS6? There's a few used pairs of S4 front seats on eBay for relatively short money; would love to get a little more supportive seating in my car. Euro RS6 seats are hard to find and too pricey. Only other thing I could think of would be Recaro Sportster CS's but they're like $1400/ea plus mounting brackets/rails.

i think the B7 RS4 bucket seats have been mounted on the RS6 C5 with few modifications done to rails, i'll see if i can find the thread....so the S4 ones should also fit...

I'm pretty sure they're the same seats, but they say "RS4" rather than "Recaro" on them. Would prefer not to have RS4 emblazoned on the seats of my RS6, lol!

let me know if they are same because me and my buddy (i had an rs4 are at the time and he had an s4) settled on i believe that they werent...rs4 bolsters seemed a bit more aggressive on side bottom and of course piping is different...
