Hi!

I would like to purchase Phatnoise for my RS6. :)

I live in Poland. :(

There is no way to get it here.

In USA I can see on Phatnoise web page that they sell through audi dealers only.

Can anybody advise how to purchase it from Poland, so I could pay with credit card or wire transfer and they would ship it to me.

Anybody knows some friendly dealer willing for some extra small deal like this?

THX a LOT !

Marcin,
Correct me if I am wrong but I think I remember reading a reference to the KEG unit in my Phat manual. I think that they are the same or similar. I know they look the same. It is and awesome unit I have one and have it loaded and it is great you will enjoy the purchase.

I may be wrong on this but I heard the Kenwood KEG and the Audi Phatbox are the same or very similar. However, the Kenwood unit operates through an FM emulator unless you have a compatible Kenwood head end. This means that the audio performance will be degraded to that of an FM radio.

The Audi unit is a direct connection offering CD quality emulation (if the files are not overly compressed).

If I am right - and I may not be - then the price premium for the Audi unit is a worthwhile exchange for increased performance.

From the Phatnoise web site:

"The 10gig KHD-C710 Kenwood Music Keg and the 20gig KHD-CX910 Kenwood Excelon Music Keg are directly compatible with most late model Kenwood car stereos, and can interface to any car using the Kenwood remote RF Controller (below). Both units and the controller are available at major car audio electronics retailers throughout the US."
