Just reading Automobiles' January issue. Some news from Audi at least for the U.S. . The new A6 should be here in Nov. or Dec. of '04. It will have the 3.2 V6 with 250 Hp. The turbo engine will be gone. A 335 Hp. 4.2 V8 will be in the high end A6. Then in '05 we should see an A6 5.0 V-10 with 420 Hp. Then in '06 a second-generation RS6 with a twin- turbo V-10 putting out 500 Hp. The Allroad also goes the way of the Dodo. Just some thoughts for speculation.

P.S. They also said something about an '07 Drop-Top as well.:s4addict: Bimmerhead

At least they will give it one more shot in the arm before it dies, with the A6 S-line. I'll try and snap a pic next week at the Detroit Auto Show.

What about the LeMans Quattro V10 biturbo? Is Audi just blowing smoke on that one? I know there's specuation it won't be offered.

I guess the bottom line is performance and if Audi can do it without turbos, then , although it would seem to limit the tuning opportunities...

Personally, I hope you're wrong on this one.
