Building a faster Benz ---> 575 bhp Renntech SL55K!!!

In the Jan 2003 Sports Car International issue here's a Road Test of Renntech's SL55K with 575 hp :race:

Faster than a sports bike?
0 - 60 mph in 4.1 secs and 0-100 mph in 9.3, 402 m in 12.6 secs.

Huge Brembo brakes etc. :cool2: and a total of 83.000 USD in conversion cost.

Is it perfect? Hmmm...they don't seem to like the automatic gearbox very much...and is it really a driver's car?

In the Septembers issue of Car and Driver Magazine (10.000hp shootout), this car took 8th in a test with 15 moded cars.
Lingenfelter Twin-Turbo Corvette (650hp) won with a 996tt AutoThority (720hp) being the runner-up.
