Any Problems With Moded Ecu Here Or Heard Of Any???

Trying to get a little servey going here to see if anyone has had probelms or heard of problems with modded ECU? The only major problem that I have heard of is the transmission over on Audiworld which was not modded...sounds like just a bad trany which happens. Respones are greatly appreciated:D :D :cheers:

Your having problems???? Sorry to hear...what kind of mods do you have?

I have an A6 2.7T with MTM chip. Lost boost and Audi had a real hard finding the leak. Now they found it, but all of the eninge coolant had to leak before they had to dig so deep they found the boost leak (as well.) There was a crack in some part under the V in the V6.

Now all is fine! I get the RS6 feeling when I floor it! :cheers:

Potentially it was about to cost me about >2500 USD but since the dealer invoiced me CAR + CHIP on the same paper the are bound to pay. If, however, they would not have treated me nicely it would have caused me a whole lot of problems i.e. going thru court.

So anyone chipping without a paper from the dealer could be in big trouble.
