It's pretty sad but I have to admit some ignorance as to the advantages of naturally aspirated vs. turbo'd vs. supercharged engines. In the past I've always favored naturally aspirated engines. I think this is because I liked the predictable characteristics when driven hard. I also like low end torque which turbo boosted engines don't always have( obviously not the case with the RS-6). However it seems to me that many of the premier manufactures of high performance engines are moving back to V-10's and W/V12's. This includes Porsche(Carrera GT), Audi(Le Mans), and BMW( E60 M5) to name a few. Obviously Ferrari never left. Can somewhat advance my education beyond 101!

We're seeing the S4 going from biturbo to n/a V8.
A V8 into a small car like the A4!
We're seeing W12:s with both n/a and biturbo
We will see V10:s as well not only in super sport cars but in daily drivers! With turbo or not only the future can tell.

It's a strange world!
