Not sure what to make of the arches and rear wing...looks like I will have to upgrade my WRX soon... :mouthshut

Looks like they used a roadside verge for their outside photo location? :eye:

As long as it serves its purpose on the full on race car, I think it is aesthetically ok. To see it on a street car is another story  Let's just hope that Mitsu WRC04 rear wing don't make it to the streets :nono:

Pardon my ignorance, but what's that think on the roof? Doesn't appear to cool anything.

Air intake is my best guess.

Or are they planning to race in deep water? :jlol: :rotflmao:

I don't know if it would be an air intake since these cars are front engined (doesn't make sense to me). Maybe for camera and/or certain GPS and engine management antennae? The scooby's got it too.

It's air intake for the driver and co-driver. This allows the full ventilation area in the engine compartment to be used for other stuff. Also the air coming through the engine compartment is kind of warmish in a real race car ;).

Most recently there was the Acropolis rally (finished on the 10th) with the Turkish Rally around the corner.

The Acropolis was won by Peter Solberg in the Subaru WRC.

The Manufacturers championship standings can be found here (http://www.wrc.com/Results/Standings.asp?Year=2004&ChampType=M)...Dissapointing season for Mitsubishi.
