p0501 speed sensor question

Noticed a hesitation when I let off the gas. Got abs, tc, check engine and then p0501. Im having a hard time finding a part number and I have no idea where the speed sensor is located. Is it by the drivers side firewall in the engine compartment? Ill try to attach a photo of what google or ebay thinks the part looks like.


Any input would be appreciated.

Necro bumping this thread as I have run across the exact same issue...any insight into best vendor/pricing to source oem replacement and also circles and arrows on how to DIY if it's a simple enough job. Thanks in advance:addict:
