Looks like Audi Design was playing with its new copying machine. Once again, one gets to witness the perfect execution of bland.

Very gen 1 at the back there. I think it won't look like a huge departure but when next to the second generation it will look fresh.

A yawn in a different color. After all the concepts that Audi has shown over the past decade, the end result is rehash of the Mk 1 and the Mk 2. For all of this disappointment the technology and driving experience better be spot on.

I don't think the driving experience will be much different from the Mk2.
It will still be the same drive train layout as the Mk2.
So, still a fancy Golf with a custom suit.

And hence a significant reason why the second generation did not sell near the numbers of the original. The Golf GTI and Golf R are substitutes for the TT, at a significantly lower price savings.

When Audi would change the TT to longitudinal engine layout it could got a performance hike for certain.

Nice (but not great!) front end, but awful rear. Looks like some cheap german tuner tried to modify the MK2. Way way way to many lines going all over the place...

I think the new TT is a design hodgepodge, and it looks terrible IMHO.
