So I have owned my car since 2006 as the second owner. I have noticed but have never asked this forum, does anybody else have drilled rotors? Is it standard or did the previous owner have this done?

Standard - get ready for the sticker shock when you need to replace them

There is a solid rotor also available for a bit less money from Audi. But for the USA, drilled was OE.

All RS6 rotors are drilled yes. You can elect to utilize a non-drilled rotor which is available from VW/Audi (from a Phaeton I believe). I have non-drilled rotors on the front of one of the rides here while the others are all drilled. Makes no difference in performance or longevity. If you are 'tracking' your car, I personally would suggest utilizing a slotted rotor vs. a drilled as drilled rotors are prone to cracking under repeated high heat cycling.

As Jimmy said, Cross Drilled was standard for North America and Solid was standard elseware with Cross Drilled as an option.
