Awhile back someone was asking..... Here's the best answer I've seen so far:

The underpinnings benefit from aluminum swivel bearings and control arms on the four-link front suspension, and double A-arm rear suspension. Larger anti-roll bars in front and rear help maintain high-speed stability.

Where are the Aluminum swivel Bearings. There is nothing in there, as far as the suspension pieces (not counting shocks/struts/springs) that is different than the S6 except the rubber bushings in the lower A-Arms have a higher Durometer stiffness than the S6. Other than that the other pieces have the same part numbers.

They actaully didnt have a higher durometer in the bushings.

The aluminum center of bushing was larger and then had less rubber making them stiffer and less flexable.

All "S" model cars had the same upper bushings that were the same way, thicker alum center causing less flex then the "A" model cars

Maybe thats what they mean by Aluminum swivel bearings, remember its a magazine article not stuff issued from VW/Audi
