The quote from my service manager after giving me an estimate of $3k - "High-dollar car, high-dollar maintenance." Even though they had done my 2.7T a year before, which is pretty much the same kit and work, for less than half the price.
I bought this kit because it included the accessory belt tensioner, and added the bolts and a gallon of coolant, for a total of about $610. It is a Continental belt vs the Gates belt in the ECS kit, but does include a steel impeller water pump. Seemed to be the most kit for the money. I also bought the cam lock bar and the crank locking pin. All together, $775 and saved over $2k by doing it myself.

Hey Johnnie, I used the ECS kit as well for my service and its got everything you need. Had mine fitted at Ultratune though, and as you know that turned into a complete engine rebuild, which should be done in 2 weeks. I love ECS because of the speed and range and have got my rotors and pads from them as well. Good luck.

I also used europaparts.com for most of it. Got my blue kevlar belt from amazon. They were reasonable and pleasant.
