As title states. This will be my thread to document the install. I have the KW v3 early design on my other car so this will be a good test for the H&R setup.

Anyone that has the H&R coilovers....can you post your spring settings front and rear? Maybe measure the threaded shock body to lowest lock ring. Nothing in the box or website as to initial preload.

Bye bye wheel gap 4x4

The H&R's that I have installed were purchased from Achtuning, part #: 29482-2 . installed by an indy - I'll see what I can dig up for you, but I recall him saying that they were on the last thread of the struts

Yep, same number and same vendor. Great service from them btw.

Can you snap a pic of your ride height to go along with the spring setting?

I have 225-45-18 snows mounted at present, but you can get an idea of the ride height .. it's pretty low .. same in rear ..

^^ That is not repainted. That is a 11yr old control arm taken off my #3. ;-)

I didnt have time to check yet but notice the large alloy collar in the suspension bushings. Are the RS6 control arm busings different from A6?

I also have all the install settings for the H&R sport coilover install. Waiting to see where things settle out.

Oh yeah, no more wheel gap.

365mm bolt to perch on the front.

340mm bolt to perch on the rear.

Ride is excellent. Good job of matching damping to spring rate. Car drives just fine.

Me veddy happy.

Well

Clearly we had to wax the control arms before assembly
