Went to purchase the Fidelity 3yr/36m full warranty today. In late December the I was able to get a offer of $3,400 for the best warranty Fidelity offered (platinum). Had the car checked out and it was all good until the finance guy tried to pull it up. Seems after the new year Fidelity rolled the warranty car year to a minimum of 2004. No warranty available for 2003 from Fidelity. This was a warranty that covered everything but certain exlusions like wear items. They offered me a Zurich warranty that is a stated coverage warranty for $3,850. Seems to cover the major items but the finance guy said it will be tougher to get them to cover some items that are grey issues. It seems to cover the DRC, transmission and valve covers. Most major engine issues. Anybody ever buy a stated coverage policy for Zurich?
