Do dampers from an RS6 mount to an A6 & S6?

I don't have access to a catalogue to cross reference the part ID's, so wondering if anyone in the know can answer this. Will the RS6 DRC dampers mount to an A6/S6 chassis or vice versa? Same chassis, same control arm configuration, same uprights if I'm not mistaken. That suggests than anyone that has put on something other than PSS9 or KWV3's on their beast were in fact mounting A6/S6 parts?

I have an '03 S6 Avant on the lift and looks identical to me between the RS6. Vehicle weights are nearly identical which is important to consider.

Checked one of my euro parts supplier and found:

There's KYB, Sachs, Koni and Bilstein (std. and sport) also showing up for the S6. I'd tell you where to look on-line but both companies are wholesale only, and likely the source where everyone else gets them for resale.
