While we're in there gutting the precats, what else should I do? I have an EGT issue - has had it since the car showed up, but I have two new sensors and I will ofcourse be swapping those in at this time.

Cam tensioners/seals/gaskets? I have a slight valve cover leak on passenger bank, will address that as well. The car's timing chain/belt was changed around 75k with prior owner at Audi Gwinnet of Georgia. The car now has 94k. Any other basic maintenance issues I should be aware of at this mileage?

Still rocking uber-strong on the 10secS4 special brew and the MTM TCU. Love this stuff.

It may be easier to access the coolant pipe bolts on the back of the engine in order to replace the passenger side valve cover. while you are there and all.

Are you just lowering the engine a little, or all the way out?

I delete the secondary air system and blocked off the back of the heads and deleted the EGTs' altogether. Do this and you will likely never have another CEL.
