I think you can broaden your search by looking for the Me.7.1.1 from the A6 4.2 and the S6, which should be compatible. Just copy a stock ECU flash and clone over the serial eeprom form your existing ECU and you should be good to go.

I bought it but I don't think I am going to use it. I was going to have a stock tune on one and a custom tune on the other. That was just to deal with California emissions.
I paid 250.00 plus shipping. That is what I will take.

Thanks Del...I just read about coding the ECU to the car to use the alarm? Don't have a local Audi dealer, hmmm, thoughts?

They can code it in 15 min.
Both Ecus will interchange.

That won't work. The boards are physically different. The N/A 4.2L ME7.1.1 ECMs do not have support for EGT sensors nor a third knock sensor.
