View Full Version : Quick Hawk Ceramic pad question...

I'm ordering front and rears tonight...BUT it says there's no notch for the wear sensor? I don't want to short out my sensor and cut it off. I searched and thought someone has hawk pads on here with the notch? The HPS plus and ceramics say they don't have it. Is there a way to create the notch?

You can trick the sensor with a piece of wire. Easy, just jump between each wire, it thinks its plugged in...

EBC Yellow's even come with the senor lead harnesses. Just put in a set on a V8 S4 with Zimmerman drilled rotors. Nice setup.

when u click the drop down it says with out sensor notch?

Do a quick google search for "ebc yellowstuff coming apart"
happened to me too. And I was over 2 hours from home. Wrecked my rotors.

What specific pads did you get and from where. The brake dust of stockers is driving me crazy.
