Hi all, I have Pallettes old beast and the DRC has passed on, 3 of the 4 hoses are deteriorated and I have made a decision to remove the DRC and install coilovers, only problem is finding product on the shelf. I have sourced the Bilsteins B14 PSS, of course North America is dry, waiting for ETA from Germany, can anyone recommend a substitute for a

2004 Audi RS6

Product name and numbers would be greatly appreciated and then I will continue the search. I know Koni makes a version and KW Variant 3. Trying to keep cost down as I may decide to sell after the suspension is 100%.

Thank you for all input/advice.

Were you dissatisfied with the performance of the DRC prior to the braided lines rusting out and failing?

H/R coilovers for the A6 4.2 are a good choice on the budget.

The cost of 4 braided lines plus the extension lines plus the shocks if they are damaged due to 2 weeks of driving with low pressure is around 4 K plus install, the ride with DRC was good, but the beast is 10 YRS old and newer components will be just as good if not better.

I assume that is listed as A6 Quattro? The part # 29482-2?

Anyone use ST? The price is REALLY affordable:

The only thing is if I search the part# that ECS lists on ST's website, they do not list the 4.2. They do in the Avant but not the sedan.

There is also the KW V1's. Oddly enough the A6 4.2 version of the V1's are ~1500. The RS6 model is ~2100. I'd like to see the difference between the two models:
