As luck, fate would have it, I used the insurance proceeds to purchase a beast instead of another S6. No regrets whatsoever.

The one thing I do miss about that car was the daytime LED light’s on the front bottom grills. It looks bad-ass to someone in their rear-view mirror when you come up on them. Plus, it just set the car apart at that time.

Does anybody have any experience with putting aftermarket LED’s somewhere in the front of their RS6? Conversion kit or aftermarket setup ?

They look good on Audis that come originally equipped with them, retrofit, not so much.

Agreed there is just something about non factory LEDs that just don't look right, even if done clean and profesionally. IMO

This guy had put the S6 DRL's on his 2.7t and it turned out okay IMO.

I agree, that does look pretty good but it required a fair amount of work to modify the bumper cover and you'd be blocking precious airflow to the intercoolers on our cars.

With the LEDs installed, you could delete the fogs and install Wagner grills. You'd get more air to the ICs, especially if the LEDs are set into the bumper cover.

Good point.

Car is designed a specific way and that way is not for LED strips. I liken LED mindset on a C5 in similar fashion as C6 grill mindset on a C5. Get the car that has the LED accounted for in it's design if you desire them that much. Otherwise don't piss with a good thing.

Don't forget Bigglze, and yes, if the led strip was actually nice it would help, but way out of place.
