Crazy cost, calculating inflation, our C5 at $90k new would cost $113k now. I know there is way the hell more packed in this new version, but at $187k USD that is just insane...

Well it probably would be less than $187k if you factor out the ludicrous VAT they have to pay over there. Have they announced RS7 pricing yet? Should be about the same if we were getting it.... I would think that the exchange rate factored in and the VAT factored out it would end up back around $130-140k...

US was less in 2003 too. If that car came here, I bet it'd be under 140. "Down Under" they were selling for over 200k in '03.
